3. Intellectual Property

  • All content, designs, text, graphics, templates, and software on the site are owned solely by Studio Lemonade or properly licensed to us.

  • You may download and use digital materials strictly for personal or business use—no resale, redistribution, or rebranding without written permission.

  • Unless otherwise agreed, Studio Lemonade retains copyright on custom client work until full payment is received.

4. Client Deliverables & Usage

  • Ownership Transfer: For custom work, ownership transfers upon full payment.

  • Portfolio Use: We retain the right to showcase finished projects in our portfolio and promotional materials unless you explicitly request otherwise in writing.

5. Payment, Deposits & Refunds

  • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is required to begin a project.

  • Balance: Due upon project completion and before final deliverables are handed over.

  • Late Payments: Late payments may incur a fee of 10% per week, or we reserve the right to pause work.

  • Refunds: Digital products (like templates) are non-refundable once downloaded. Custom project refunds are granted at our discretion based on scope and work completed.

6. Project Timeline & Client Responsibilities

  • We’ll agree on a project timeline in writing at the start.

  • Delays caused by you—such as missing content, feedback, or approval—may result in paused work and additional billing or extended deadlines.

  • If you’re unresponsive for [e.g., 14 days], we may pause or terminate the project. You will still owe payment for work completed to date.

7. Booking & Cancellations

  • Appointments and consultations require [e.g., 24‑hour] notice to reschedule at no charge.

  • For shorter cancellations/reschedules, we reserve the right to charge a sterilization or convenience fee.

8. Third-Party Tools & Links

  • We may use third-party tools (e.g., Notion, Shopify, Canva) as part of our Services. We are not liable for issues arising from these tools or changes in their terms.

  • Our site may contain third-party links—we aren’t responsible for their content, privacy practices, or functionality.

9. Privacy & Data

10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

  • You may cancel a project in writing. You will be billed for all work performed up to the cancellation date, plus any non-recoverable expenses.

  • We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time.

  • Material changes will be posted on the site, and we may notify returning clients via email.

  • Continued use of the site and services after changes indicates your acceptance.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Oregon, USA

  • Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Deschutes County, OR.
